How to find the serial number on the MacBook Pro
- Choose the Apple menu → About This Mac to read the serial number.
- The serial is also engraved on the underside or printed on the box.
- Copy it directly to avoid confusing 0 with the letter O.
Tip: copy from the screen instead of retyping from a photo — it is easy to confuse 0 with O or drop the last character. On dual-SIM phones, record both IMEI 1 and IMEI 2.
