Coverage vs Warranty on Apple Devices

• Warranty: the promise to repair/replace hardware within a term.
• Coverage: the full set of services currently applied to that serial.

A device can be out of hardware warranty but still have phone support, or still have AppleCare+ after the original Limited Warranty ended. Read each line on Check Coverage instead of asking only “is it under warranty?”.

3. If AppleCare+ is present, confirm transfer rules when buying used.
